Recline foot on Radian

This kinda goes with my other thread about the tether.

My friend has a Pilot and the recline on her radian with the piece you have to use for rf is way to reclined. Do you have to use that foot piece for rf? If so what can she do to make the seat more upright (it is way beyond 45 degrees and her DD is 20 months)?

TIA

You *must* use the RF foot when installing the seat RFing.

You can put pressure on the seat by babies legs (not bum) to encourage a more upright install.

Make sure when you are attaching the RFing tether that you are just pulling slack out... do not overtighten, that will encourage the seat to overrecline as well.

You can make it slightly more upright by starting with the foot about 1 inch away from the vehicle seatbight as well.

Is there anyway you can take some pictures for better help?

She is actually a Mom from my Birth Club board so I don't have access to the car. Here are a few pics she has of the seat though

I don't know if you can tell much from them.

That doesn't look super overreclined to me... if the picture was straight on we'd probably see it close to a 45 degree angle. If she tries the tricks that I posted, that should help out a bit.
