Question Infant Car seat for 1995 Ford F-150

We are going to have our first baby in May. We have a 1995 Ford F-150 with buckets seats in rear and front. Rear seats are shallow, and the infant car seat we just bought I guess doesn’t fit. The overhang on the rear seat is more then 80% even though it’s locked in. Front seats fold down, but after we put the front seats back up they didn’t fully lock in place because the umbrella part of the infant car seat sticks out and front seats are pulled all the way forward. Does anyone know of a current model car seat that would fit with somewhat no problem. I really like the infant car seat now. We also have a 2007 CRV so I’m sure I can put the Graco Snugride infant car seat in there but my husband takes that to work since it gets better gas mileage and I take the truck around town to do shopping or Doctors appointment. Not looking to get judged but just some helpful tips or recommendations as to what would fit hopefully. Thanks!

My first question is do you have a passenger airbag? If so does it have a switch?

If there's no passenger airbag or there is a switch to turn it off, it's safe to install in the front seat (and it's better to do so than have inadequate room to install properly in the rear.)

This car could have occupancy sensor in passenger seat. If weight of child not enough passenger airbag would be off. Any way you should do according to car manual
