Backless Booster for Pacifica Minivan
Hi all!
I have a Harmony Youth booster that is expiring at the end of the year. I keep it around in case I need to transport an extra kid, and I'd like to replace it for similar purposes. However, my needs within the lifetime of the new booster will be a bit different.
Vehicles: 2017 Pacifica Hybrid mainly, occasionally late-model Outbacks, unknown others.
Price: don't care
My state has a 40lb minimum for booster riders, so I no longer need a booster that could fit smaller kids. My child will be booster legal in my state in the next 1-2 years, so I'd like something that would be a good travel/carpool seat for my child. We fly on average about once a year. Because I might use it for other kids, especially while mine is still harnessed, I'd like it to fit as wide a range of kids as possible on the bigger side.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Backless Booster for Pacifica Minivan
I recently bought a graco turbo go folding seat and so far love it. I needed something for occasional use for an extra child. I like that it's compact and the belt guides fold down so it's easy to store in my car till I need it. It's no frills but for an occasional seat it is great.

I'm a fan of the Turbo TakeAlong, myself.
The RightGuide is an option for bigger kids. Has a 50 lb minimum though.

The Turbo Go looks neat, and pretty roomy! The TakeAlong is cool too, more traditional but heavier. My peanut is under 35 pounds at 5.5 years old, so it will be quite a while before I can use a 50 pound minimum. We will likely get something like the Right Guide down the road, though.
