    Scenera Next or????

Hi. It's been awhile since I have needed to purchase a car seat. Is the Scenera Next still one of the better options as a secondary seat? Foster baby is very petite (under 5th %). I have baby in a Chicco Keyfit 30 but rather than buy a 2nd base for my husbands car I'd rather get an inexpensive but safe convertible seat. Baby would rarely ride in his car, more for back up if daycare closes early and he needs to pick her up etc.

Are there any other seats in that price range I should consider?

    Thank you!

The Next is still a favorite around here as a secondary/travel seat. My 25% daughter made it to 4 RF in that seat in my parents' vehicles, so I can't complain!

Another vote for the Next! It should last long enough for you to get your money's worth.
