High Back Booster in Recline Position Safe?

In order to have my Chicco KidFit High Back booster fit properly in my car, I need to place the booster in the recline position. I recall years ago reading that it was not as safe of a seat if you had to do that. Has technology changed? Is it just as safe either in its upright or reclined position?

Many thanks!

Hi there! The backrest has 2 positions. The instructions say to use the position that makes it flush with the vehicle seat. As long as you're doing that you're good (certainly that's safer than having a gap behind due to poor fit.)
