    3 Across in Mazda CX-9

Hi all! We need to buy additional cars for our babysitter’s car. She has a new (2018 or 2019) Mazda CX-9, and has her daughter FF in a Graco Slimfit. My 5.5yo is 37lbs (teeny), an is FF. My 2.5yo is 30lbs and RF. What seats and configuration can work for all 3–and not break the bank?

(For reference—we have my son in an Evenflo Maestro in our cars, and my daughter in a Graco Extend to Fit and a Britax Boulevard—any of those could be moved into the babysitter’s car).

    Hi there!

If your kids are short, the Cosco Finale for your older and the Cosco Scenera Next for your younger would work perfectly. Just make sure there's no overlap between them and the SlimFit, as the SlimFit is sadly, not very slim.

Does the answer change if it is a Clek FILO rather than a slim fit?

The Fllo is narrower by a couple of inches than the SlimFit. The Finale and Scenera Next will still Fit.

My answer may change drastically if the children are different sized. You may need to start your own thread if the kids are differently sized/aged.
