Car seat for 4 year old

I’m looking for a car seat for my 4 year old. Preferably one that has a harness for now and then can switch to a booster eventually. We just had to get rid of our Britax Boulevard.

    Hi there.

How tall and heavy is your child, and what is your budget?

Why did you have to get rid of your Boulevard?

Re: Car seat for 4 year old

Due to an accident, I also need a new car seat for a 4 year old who has been happily rear-facing in the Extend2Fit.

Given the revised findings showing less clearly a benefit for ERF, would you go for another Extend2Fit? Or just get a FF seat?

If we went for a FF model, I’d want something with a narrower profile and ideally a bit lighter. No need for it to turn into a booster; we have a high back booster already.

He is average size, around 36 lbs.

At four I'd go either way.

But why don't you start your own thread, so we don't confuse everyone with different recommendations for two different sized kids and two different budgets in two different cars?
