Baby #4 is on his way, and his 3 huge older siblings have all been over the 99th percentile for both weight and height since birth. So far, #4 is due in September and is already measuring large. He will likely end up being very wide like his brothers (both broad shouldered, and wide set chest, with long torso). So we are concerned about internal width of a carseat, as well as top shoulder harness slot height.
In the past, we always just bought a Chicco Keyfit 30 for infants and used it until the babies maxed out the seat limits, but I have seen several lighter carseats on the market and was wondering if anyone has experience with putting a giant baby in a Clek Liing or Nuna Pipa? With the last baby, I wound up injuring myself by lifting him in his carseat and would very much like to avoid that happening again if possible.
I have already messaged Chicco, Nuna, and Clek and asked each about their shoulder harness heights, but each gave confusing info. One ignored me completely lol.
Any insights? thanks!
