    Airtravel

We always pay for an extra seat and bring our daughter's carseat along with us. Our daughter is 5 years and still fits very well in her Britax Advocate ClickTight. But, she had barely any legroom during our last flight and wasn't able to put her table tray down either. Also, the airplane buckle is right behind her back making it very uncomfortable. We already decided to get the Britax Frontier ClickTight Harness to Booster as our next carseat. Do you think, she would be more comfortable using that on the airplane without compromising on safety? Thank you!

    Hi Verena,

How tall and heavy is she? You and she may enjoy a smaller and lighter weight travel seat, if you travel often enough to justify one. Or, if she's booster ready, a booster seat may be used for travel.

    Re: Airtravel

Just to clarify, if you use a booster for travel, you'll just use it in the car at your destination as belt-positioning boosters are not permitted to be used on board aircraft. (You may be able to take it as a carry-on, or you might have to check it with checked luggage. The airline should be able to help you sort that out.) Depending on her size she may well fit the airplane seat belt without using a car seat, but if it is a long flight she might appreciate the extra support of a car seat.
