    Outgrowing Britax Boulevard

When do children typically outgrow the Britax Boulevard? My 4 year daughter is 44 lbs, 42 inches, with a seated height of 14.5 inches. I recently decided to purchase this seat for her, with the intent of transitioning her to a dedicated high back booster when she outgrew it. I realize itís generally recommended that children of this age get a harnessed booster because theyíre not using the rear-facing feature, but I love the clicktight and didnít want the Frontier because itís so huge. I was hoping for something smaller and lighter once we reach the booster phase, like the Graco Turbobooster, and just didnít want the Frontier as our booster. But Iíve been doing some reading and now Iím not sure if she will last much longer in the Boulevard. Any guesses on how much longer she might have in it?

    Re: Outgrowing Britax Boulevard

It has about 18.5" top harness height, or higher, so based on an inch of torso growth a year, about four years there. On her height, based on the downloadable CDC growth charts, about two years before she hits 49". On her weight, about three years before she hits 65 pounds. Roughly on all three of those. May be within a year more, or a bit less. But those are estimates.

I don't think, in any way, she'll NOT get to a mature booster age.
