Canada 11 year old Not tall enough for Hyundai Accent Backseat

My 63" close to or over 120lb 11 year old doesn't fit the seat belt in the back seat. The strap is at his neck unless he is in his booster. He is using a backless Diono solana booster seat. But is getting quite big. Is there some sort of thing we can use on the strap or other suggestions to make this car work, or do we keep using the booster seat over the weight limit. We are in canada. Are there other booster seats for higher weights? What do adults do as he is like a small adult.

Adults have mature skeletons, so an adult without perfect belt fit is thought to be safer than a child without perfect belt fit.

There are no boosters rated at over 120# so I would suggest that you call Diono and ask if they will approve of you using the Solana past the 120# weight limit.
