Had my seats inspected today

We were headed out to my grandparents for the day, and when I went to put Trin in her seat, it was WAY to loose. So I dropped by the fire dept that is just down the road from the house(they have techs there and I wasnt in the mood to deal with her seat myself) One of the guys took the kids around the fire station, let them play in the trucks and they had a blast. The other guy fixed her seat checked her straps when I put her in it and THEN.."How old is she" I said She'll be 2 next month. "How much does she weigh" I said about 25 lbs. His response"Well, do you want me to turn her around? she is big enough" I said No thanks, we are keeping her RF until the limit of her seat. he was impressed by the Beast aka the regent and shocked at how much stuff I knew. At least it was a better check than I had last time. What can ya do?
I told them ERF is the best way to go.

Glad he didn't force the FFing on you like so many ignorant techs do. Good for you for strutting your knowledge. :) It's sad how little so many techs know.

Did he show you how to fix your seats?

Having the checks at fire stations always seems to be a great way to make sure there's time. There are definitely amusements to entertain your kids for ten minutes, and the kids LOVE the fire trucks, and of course firemen love showing off their stuff. LOL I'm glad your kids had a blast.

I knew how to fix it. But my back was killing me from work, so I didnt want to strain it worse. Yeah, he was just like, oh ok, when I told him we were keeping her RF.
