Booster for Jump Seat

I am looking for recommendations for a booster seat for our 2016 Nissan Frontier king cab. The manual says that car seats/booster seats will fit in the back seat. The head rests are adjustable, and the seats have the latch and teather system. My 5 year old is 40 pounds and meets the minimum for most booster height requirements. The seat just seems so small.

I have been looking at the Clek Ozzi backless and the Evenflo amp performance no back booster but am wondering if there are safer options out there.

This is my husbands work truck and she will only be in it when he picks her up/drops her off at school - which is less than a mile away from our house. These will be very short trips but I want to make sure she is in the safest seat possible.

Is she booster ready? She'll sit properly 100% of the time? And the shoulder belt will fit? You're jumping straight from a harnessed seat to a backless booster.

A Ride Safer Travel Vest may work well here, where she wears it. So it's small, but it has a crotch strap and still uses the truck's tether (read up on how to tether in your truck's manual, as it's different from a car's/SUV's tether). More like a wearable seat. That may fit well, and be a decent compromise.
