Lightweight, Travel-friendly Extended Rear Facing Seat

Happy Thanksgiving all! My 4 year old daughter is just about to outgrow the Cosco Scenera Next rear facing height limit, and I would ideally like to keep her rear facing for a bit longer. We don't own a car, so we are looking for a seat that is relatively lightweight and easy to install, for travel and use in rental cars. I've been looking at the Graco Contender 65, Graco Extend2Fit and Evenflo Sureride and welcome any input on those or other recommendations.

Regarding the Evenflo, is it correct that as long as she is one inch below the top of the shell it's ok, even if she exceeds the 40" limit?

Are there any other seats that are heavier but so easy to install that it makes the extra weight worth it?

Thanks!

No, you can’t ignore the 40” height limit on the Evenflos. At age 4, is there a reason you aren’t wanting to forward-face? The IMMI Go is an excellent option for situations like this.

Thanks for your response. We've used the Immi go in Ubers but we would otherwise like to keep her rear facing a little longer since she doesn't seem to mind it (for now). Do you have any thoughts on the ease of installation of any of the extended rear facing Graco models?

The Contender is tall, decently compact, decently lightweight (not very, but it's also not very heavy), and is a recommended travel seat for kids over the 40" limit. Forward facing on a plane it requires a seatbelt extender.

Thanks, I appreciate your input! If there are any other seats that you think are worth considering, I would welcome suggestions.
