Booster for tall, lanky 9 year old

I think I need a new booster for my nine year old daughter. She’s in a Britax Frontier at the moment, but complains that the seat hurts her thighs. I think the issue is that the seat is short for her lanky limbs. She’s very slight at 55 pounds, I don’t have her height at the moment but she’s a tall girl.

I’d prefer to keep her in a high back with wings as we have some major road trips planned for the next year. Right now I drive a Subaru Forester but I’m thinking about a new Honda Ridgeline (maybe).

Any suggestions for a booster with a deep seat?

You could just put something under her legs, like a rolled sleeping bag, folded stack of blankets or towels, or an overturned foam cooler. Just something to support her long legs while she's riding. That'd go for any booster, but I'd try it here first, before you buy a new seat.
