Question 1yo pushing in car seat

After some help, my 1 year old boy keeps pushing down in his car seat on the crouch strap . He takes deros breaths and breaths out , it’s like he is trying to brake the strap .
I am unsure if it’s because he is trying to stop himself from falling asleep or his board.
Any ideas or how can stop it ?

He's pushing the crotch strap with his hands or pushing against it with his body by slouching down? I would suggest trying some special toy, maybe alternate a few different ones to distract him on the ride.
