2013 Honda CRV Chicco Keyfit 30 and Chicco Nextfit in Center/Side possible?

Hi! New here. I have a 2013 Honda CRV. We have a 32 pound 25 mo toddler in a rear facing Chicco Nextfit and are expecting a new baby anytime soon.

Trying to figure out if it's possible to install both seats using center. I currently have both installed (photo attached), but don't know if it's in correctly!

I installed the Chicco Keyfit 30 in the center using Latch. Easy peasy. I installed the Chicco Nextfit behind driver using seatbelt install. (The manual for Nextfit says that Latch should only be used until child is 35 pounds for rear facing.) The seats touch, but don't move much.

Has anyone with a Honda CRV successfully installed a Keyfit 30 and Nextfit next to each other, both rear facing? I'd ideally love to have Keyfit 30 in center and nextfit behind driver.
Would love some advice if it's possible to safely install.

Also since I installed Nextfit using seatbelt, I noticed that the bottom buckle fell under the seatbelt thread. (Photo attached) Is this wrong? Thanks for your help!

Welcome! I can't see your picture, but you have a seating position that is overlapped when you use center LATCH lower anchors. I forget which side is which in your year, but there is a prohibition in your manual on putting ANYTHING there if the center lower anchors are in use (also make sure you're using the correct one as they overlap.)

You can put the other seat on the other side but not on the spot the lower anchors overlap. You can also switch to seatbelt install center if you need to use that seat (though I'd guess a car seat will still fit better on the other side.) Your vehicle manual has more details.

I can't see the photos (maybe they will show up when your membership is approved?), but I have some concerns from your description. I have been in a CR-V of that generation, and I don't think the driver side seat belt is really usable when using one of that position's lower anchors for a "center" LATCH install. Installing both seats with the seat belts should be easier and more secure.

Edit: simulpost! I got photos from the Car Seat Lady that has photos of the back seat and installations in that generation of CR-V

I see this thread is a little outdated but, I would just really like to know if the Chicco Nextfit fits behind the drivers seat, rear facing, in a 2013 CRV. Thanks for your help.

As long as the driver is more average height rather than very tall, I would guess that it would fit. We had a RF NextFit in a compact crossover, and it for quite well. It is a pretty compact seat.
