We just purchased a 2016 Chevy Express that has 11 captains chairs in the rear for our large family. 3 of the rear chairs have latch connectors and tether anchors. My problem though is that the seats don't have a seperate headrest, the seat back is all one piece and I'm not sure how to properly use the tether strap for the two Britax Boulevard seats we are using for our 5 year old and very large 4 year old. The strap isn't long enough to reach the anchor (which is positioned on the back of the seat itself, almost at floor level) if I try to run it over the top of the seat. I'm also not sure that's safe, because it's a "v" strap and I feel like it would slip down the sides of the seat over time because the top of the seat is curved. Is it safe to put one side of the strap down each side of the seat and tighten it that way?
I'm also curious to know if a single tether strap (not a "v") would be ok going over the top of the seat?
