Hifold booster by Mifold

What is the consensus here? Should I pre-order one? The Mifold has been very helpful in the middle seat of the Sienna 2012, when needed.

Thanks!

It look interesting. I know that there have been some complaints about poor belt fit on the mifold so I wonder if the hifold would be any better. I personally have never used the mifold. I think the big kid doesn't look like he fits in the hifold in the 3 across shots.

To add to the above, it seems like having a booster with so many points of adjustment could be a downside if it is traveling with the kid to various, less car seat savvy, caretakers. For travel or between knowledgeable caretakers, it wouldn't be as much of an issue, of course.

The lap belt guides look very far forward just as on the Mifold. My guess is that like the other, fit will be so inconsistent as to make it unsuitable for travel, taxis and other unknown car situations, and that like the other it will fit acceptably on only a small percent of kid/car combinations and never well.

The lap belt guides look very similar to the ones on our Yumi folding booster. If they are then they are both very vehicle dependent and fit better on bigger children. Like in my outback it doesn't give a good fit to my slender 5.5 year old, but does fit her taller 6 year old friend well. But it ides fit my dd well in her grandparents car, so it lives there.
