I'm going to need to buy a new forward-facing car seat (or two) soon, and I'm looking for recommendations.
Child #1 is about 45lbs and 46-47 inches, currently rear-facing in a Nuna Rava.
Child #2 is about 48lbs and 42 or 43 inches, currently rear-facing in a Diono Rainier.
Other car seats I have: a second Nuna Rava and a Diono Radian.
The new seat will be installed in the middle row/captains chairs of a 2014 Toyota Sienna. Unfortunately, the Dionos do not install well forward-facing in my car, so just turning the Rainier (or Radian) around is not an option. I have not tried installing the Nuna Rava forward facing in this car, so this might work for Child #2.
I'd love to keep Child #2 rear-facing, but that's probably not an option. I want to keep both kids harnessed as long as possible.
