Does anyone have experience with this seat in a Grand Caravan (2nd row captains chair) with a newborn? Does it have the standard 6 year expiration? Manufactured 06/13 Thanks!

It does, and it's stamped on the back with the do not use after date.

It should have a VERY adjustable base, and should fit well in that seat, even without noodles or towels. Though it may require some (everything does).

Be aware that some versions come without the adjustable base, even with that manufacture date. If so, be prepared to use a large towel. :)
