My daughter is 9 years old, 60lbs, & 4' 2". I've had her in a high back booster until recently and we switched to a backless booster. The seat belt in the backless booster crosses below the shoulder. I have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. However, if she sits in the car without a booster, the seatbelt fits across her shoulder properly. It does not go across her neck at all. Fits across the center of her chest and the lap belt fits across her as it should. Is she ok to be in the car now without a booster?
