Does my Graco Extend2fit need replaced after a MINOR car accident?

My daughter and friend were in a MINOR car accident. It basically was a fender bender. No one got hurt, there is no damage to the vehicle, the air bags did NOT deploy, and the car was able to drive away. I have looked at the owners manual and looked on the website and have found that Graco says to replace it. However, I am waiting until morning to call customer support for a definitive answer. What does everyone else think?

Re: Does my Graco Extend2fit need replaced after a MINOR car accident?

Hi there. So sorry you're dealing with this. At least it was minor.

Graco says to replace after ANY crash. The only question is, was this a crash? If it's so so minor that you can't even tell it happened, maybe it was more of a bump and not a crash and no big deal. None of us were there with you to see it, but if it was a crash, it needs replacing. If it was a bump, meh.
