New booster or no booster

Our daughter is 11 years old, 5'1 and weighs about 100lbs. Our car is a ford flex, and the seatbelts in both the second and third rows do not have a slide adjustable that allows you to raise and lower the height, they have a curved slit on the pillars that they come out of that allows them to change the angle. I hope that makes sense! My problem is that when she sits in a backless booster the seatbelts slide off the edge of her shoulder. If we could raise the height it wouldn't be an issue but since we can't I tried her without a booster. I think the shoulder belt is a little too close to her neck though. The lap belt fit is good but I worry about it staying down in a crash. I don't believe her hips are formed enough to hold it there and would prefer having a booster to make sure it stays. Her feet are flat on the floor. We have tried a parkway, a graco, and a harmony all backless and have the shoulder belt issue with them all. Is there anything that will work to ensure the lap belt positioning? This is currently our only vehicle. Thank you for any help you can provide!

The lap belt is fine but the shoulder belt seems to be between the pictures of the kids who pass and the one of the boy in red with the belt touching his neck. How close to the neck is not ok? It's definitely not in the middle of her shoulder. The rest is a pass. The shoulder belt is the only questionable part. The clips on the boosters seem to be lower on her back than I would expect. Is there a guide for where they should be in relation to the child? I will say that I'm 6 feet tall and those seatbelts don't fit me well either, I feel like the shoulder belt is too close to my neck as well! Hopefully we will be looking at a 2nd vehicle soon!

You could also try the Safety 1st Incognito, if that doesn't work out. It is low and won't change her position as much but just a little.

Does the seatbelt being close to her neck bother her? As long everything else fits, the biggest worry so far as I know is that a kid will put it under their arm or behind their back (or I've seen a kid slip it down off the shoulder and around the side of their upper arm if seatbelt gemoetry allows). If she can be trusted to leave it alone then it's probably fine.
