Hi, I read that the booster mode on the Frontier Clicktight was not great , that the shoulder belt was not retracting well I think...
Was that fixed in newer versions? If yes starting what manufacture date?
Thank you

That's not something that's changed. It doesn't happen in every vehicle, only some; it has as much to do with belt geometry as the seat. It happens even with some dedicated boosters, but it's especially common in 3-in-1 and combination seats in booster mode- more dedicated boosters are designed in a more streamlined way to prevent it, without bulky overlap.

The earlier lap belt fit issues have been corrected.

It's a bit of both- angle as well as where the shoulder belt is mounted.

The best way to know if it will work is to try it; even when it doesn't get hung up, it can be hard to buckle, of course, like most combination seats.

It also tends to fit kids better who have outgrown the harness- although in some cars that causes an angle that leads to the hangup issue, at least belt fit is better at that point.
