    Shortening Clip

I need a shortening clip to install a car seat in an old vehicle. The lap belt buckle is in the middle of the belt and sits right under the childs back otherwise. It's easy for find a locking clip but I understand the shortening clips is a little different and can't seem to find one online. Anyone know where to find one?

What car do you have? Does the lap belt have a tail you pull tight?
