Need recommendation for convertible car seat for 18 month old RF.
My nieces dad‘s truck has a very narrow seat and struggling to find a convertible car seat with a smaller base. It will be limited use so they don’t want to spend a ton if money on it but obviously want her safe!
Seat depth is 15 inches. She found several evenflo seats (stratos or sonus) that are 15.5 inches. I can’t remember the overhang rule for the different manufacturers.

It would help us to know the height and weight of the toddler, as well as the specific model of truck (crew cab, etc.). I don't have a ton of truck experience, but others here should have some specific recommendations for you!

The baby is 26pounds and under the 40 inches. Crew cab with a narrow back seat.

The Costco Scenera next is only $40 and works well on narrow depth seats, especially when it can be more upright for an older child. My almost 3 year old still fits in ours rearfacing.
