Convertible that actually fits a newborn?

    And is about $200?

Asking for a friend. I love my Graco Milestone but got in when ds was 3 years (he's 5 now). I don't think it would fit a newborn well. Anyone use it for a newborn?

Or what other seats are out there to fit a newborn and prices around $200?

I think the MyRide65 would be a pain to put a RF toddler in with it's higher sides.

The Graco Extend2Fit generally works well for newborns, and fits well in cars. The Safety 1st Grow and Gos (all three of them) fit newborns well, but may not fit well in cars at the necessary recline. The Graco Headwise/My Size/Fit4Me/Size4Me and Contender all work for newborns, but may not fit very well in cars for a newborn. The Britax Roundabout would work well, and is ok for fit to car. The new Britax Essentials (basically the Marathon and Boulevard) would work and should be within that budget.

I'll look at the new Britax seats. I thought most of them were $300 and up. I do not like how Safety1st seats fit in cars. My GracoMilestone has been super easy to install in 3 different vehicles.

I have 3 graco extend 2 fits and LOVE them. I have used them for a newborn, 1 year old, 2 year old and 6 year old without any fit issues.
