I am looking for booster seats for my two oldest kids. Kit is my primary concern; he is about to turn 6, 45.5" and just 40#. He is tired of being harnessed in our Frontier and we have agreed on a high back booster for his birthday. He does ride occasionally in a backless booster and does start getting a little squirrelly after a bit, but settles with a reminder. Bonus points if there is any green on the booster.
Ginny is 8.5 and is a big girl at 85# and 54". She's been is a backless booster for a few years but we've recently been having an issue with her laying down when she's tired. Are there any high back options for a kid her size? She is very close to five stepping in our van, but the shoulder belt is still too close to her neck (and I realize she's still under 4'9").
Seats will go in a 2006 Kia Sedona, one in the captain's seat by the door and the other in the back. I can put the one in the back outboard on either side. It would be really nice if Kit can buckle himself; Ginny needs to be able to buckle herself.
