Question the upper limit of height of britax frontier 85

Hello everyone,
Recently I am viewing booster seats sold in United States. I noticed that Britax frontier 85 is suitable for children grown to a older age when seats from other brands can`t fit. I am curious about that if one adult whose height is 68.5 inches and he is not too fat, can he sit into the frontier 85 booster mode without difficulty (i.e., shoulder not touching with the edge of the headrest)? Thank you very much!

Hi there.

The Frontier 85 is not sold anymore, nor has it been in years. But even so, no, an adult of that height could not use the Frontier 85 in booster mode. It has a 65" limit, and most 65" people are over the 120 pound limit.

And limits aside, I can attest that a 68" person's shoulders do jam into the headrest wings

I had one for my oldest, and had to try and sit in it briefly while cleaning the car out after a trip, and my hips didn’t really fit between the arm rests. So that would be another problem, in addition to the shoulders not fitting and being over the height and weight limits.
