Graco Nautilus 80 Ekite installation

I just installed 2 Graco Nautilus 80 Elite seats in my 2009 Pilot. We did a seat belt install and with the protector mats underneath the seats fit tight but I wasn’t sure if we could use them. Without the. The seats move a bit. Also when the kids aren’t in the seats I can pull the harness straps all the way out and tighten them up without any problems but once the kids are in them it takes all my strength to get them tight. I’m really upset with these seats right now. Does anyone have any suggestions I can try?

As far as I know, Graco only allows the use of a thin towel or similar under and behind the seats. When installed properly, the seats can move up to an inch side to side and front to back when tugging at the belt path. I could see the mats making it harder to tighten the straps if they are rubbery and high in friction or change the contour of the vehicle seat. Let us know if you need more help!
