Hello - great forum, thanks to everyone for helping people out.
We have a 2004 BMW X3. The rear seat buckle receptacles are recessed.
Our daughter cleared the size requirements for an Oobr a while ago and we are switching to it for easier ingress/egress.
With the way the rear seat buckle receptacles are, it looks like the only way this works is if I hook the seatbelt into the center buckle (which is on a small strap instead of being recessed) instead of the passenger side buckle (which is recessed and basically hidden by the seat).
Is that okay?
The only other thing I can think of would be to install the seat *without* using the LATCH connectors and offset it towards the door so that there was more clearance (i.e. page 33 in the manual here: http://clekinc.com/pdfs/oobr_Owners_Manual_US_EN.pdf )
Any ideas?
