Peg Perego Convertible Install question

Hi, I was wondering, is it normal or ok that when installed forward facing, the base of the Peg Perego Convertible doesn't have its weight evenly distributed? The pressure is all in the front of the base and the back touches the vehicle seat but I can slide my hand under the back. See pictures.
Thank you 20180116_090639.jpg 20180116_090629.jpg

Hi, it looks like you need to pull the seat forward a bit. That will cause it to have a small triangular gap at the bottom back but sit flat.

It also appears that there's significant slack in the belt, so you'll need to tighten that up by pulling the shoulder portion.

Thank you, I' ll try installing it a bit forward. I think Peg allow 20% overhang?
Also, it it installed with UAS, what you see is just the rest of the strap, it's very tight, no movement at belt path

Ah! That makes sense. Hard to see sideways on my phone. :)

How much does your child weigh? You'll need to watch the weight limit on the lower connectors.

Right. So you'll want to watch carefully. When a child is within 5 lbs I usually go ahead and switch to seatbelt myself, so I don't have to keep weighing the child, personally. :) (Kids can vary 1-3 lbs depending on clothes, shoes, what they ate, etc. day to day!)
