    Question

Need options for car seat to be switched between 3 vehicles. I take my son to the nanny before work and my wife picks up in a different vehicle, and my nanny has her vehicle. We used the key fit series from Chicco but he is 18 lbs and we need an option that is either easy to install and move between cars to avoid buying three car seats.

    Re: Question

    Hi!

What vehicles do you have? How tall is he? Budget? Do you have the Keyfit 30 or 22?

Generally we would actually recommend buying 3 seats. The reason is that each time you switch the seats, especially if rushed or tired, you increase the chance of error and the risk of damaging the seat lugging it between cars (convertibles are larger and generally heavier and more difficult to carry.) It is generally a better idea to buy 3 less expensive seats than to buy an expensive one for this reason.

You can actually buy 3 convertibles for less than the cost of a Keyfit and 3 bases, if that's an issue.
