Question Help with forward of the bight seatbelts

I was just installing my daughter’s new Graco E2F in my 03 Windstar. While reading the part about incompatible seatbelts I see that it says not to use forward of the bight seatbelts. I literally only just realized my van has them.

I could use LATCH to install for the time being, I suppose, even though I highly prefer the seatbelt. The problem is I went to look at the manual for my son’s Frontier clicktight and it says that too!

Anyone know why there’s a rule about this? Is it about install? I’ve never had an issue installing any of our seats. Always tight and stable. I’m not sure what to do here, my son isn’t ready for a booster and I absolutely can’t afford another seat now.

I agree with sending pictures. "Forward of the bight" is pretty vague and is generally not meant to eliminate seat belts that are fairly close to the bight. Of course the car seat manufacturers who have decided they are a problem are best able to determine whether or not your seat belts are problematic. Good luck!
