Position in a Chrystler 200

Hello! I have a Safety First Grow and Go 3-in-1 in my 2012 Chrystler 200. My daughter is 7.5 months old, about 28 inches long and weighs approximately 18 lbs. Obviously she is still rear facing.
If any of you have this car, you'll notice that the middle of the back seat is raised up slightly, and rounds up, so it's impossible to get a car seat to sit level on this part of the seat.
My question is, is it OK to put something UNDERNEATH the carseat to level it? Or would it be safer to just move her to the passenger or drivers side in the back? If so, which side is safer? I have installed it on the sides and it is level on the sides, but I cannot get it to sit level in the middle. HELP!

By sit level do you mean side to side or front to back?

Your manual says you can use a rolled towel or pool noodle to recline the seat more, get the recline line level with the ground, but at her age you also don't need to do that.

You cannot use a rolled towel or pool noodle to sit it more upright. You cannot use something to keep it level side to side.

Generally humps aren't an issue. Once you've installed the seat is nice and tight, albeit slightly tilted sometimes.

It is not level side to side and sits tilted towards the passenger side. Is it OK if it's tilted? I can get it fairly tight with the seatbelt where it doesn't move much, but I was just worried since it tilts to the side.

That's usually fine. I'd need to see a picture to be sure, but it's not uncommon at all for seats to tilt a little and be perfectly installed.
