Combi Coccoro rear facing longevity?

I just purchased a Combi Coccoro for my Corolla to help with my 3 across situation, but I am starting to have second thoughts regarding its longevity.

I really only need it to last until I can turn my son forward facing since I will have a Radian ready for him at that point. I hate using the Radians rear facing because it is so hard to tighten and I can't really see over it with the angle adjuster (I'm short).

My kids are all on the small side. This one is almost 1 and right around the 30th percentile for height and weight. Will he be able to sit rear facing for at least 2 years of age?

My average-ish size kid lasted to about 2.5 years old in a Coccoro.

My 25th percentile newly-three-year-old just outgrew it rear-facing by hitting the height limit (nowhere near the weight limit). I think you'll be good if he stays on that curve.

It's about the same as the original Scenera. Most average kids can make it to around 2 at least (mine didn't but they aren't of average build.)

Does turning the Coccoro FF when a child outgrows it RF work? Granddaughter is 2 years 4 months, and at the top RF.

The height and weight limits are higher FF, so that should work. Just make sure the harness straps are at or above her shoulders when you switch to FF.
