Question Where oh where can it be? Tether anchor.

I can't locate the top tether anchor point for the 3rd row in my 2014 Lincoln Navigator. Can anyone help? It has the picture indicating the anchor point, but there is no where for me to connect it.

Yeah, that's what it looks like.

I was reading more in my vehicle manual and was quite surprised that Lincoln advocates the use of seat belt AND latch at the same time.

That is ONLY if the car seat manufacturer allows it too. Only 2 manufacturers do, and only for 2 specific model of car seats. What car seat do you have?

And yes, the strap IS the tether anchor for a forward facing car seat in the 3rd row. It can only be used with the car seat in the middle seating position in that row. You'll use the seat belt to install the car seat, and then the tether as well.

I have no intention of using the seatbelt and latch together. I was just pointing it out that the manual says you can.

As far as the tether, I was able to figure it out. I can't have her in the middle seat though so we had to forgo top tether at this point in time.
