Hi all,
I'm wondering if you can help me....trying to figure out best seat to buy given our circumstances.
We have 4 boys:
22 mo rf in MyRide 65
3y9m harnessed in a Harmony Defender
6 year old harnessed in a Harmony Defender
7 yo (8 at the end of Aug) in high back Graco Turbobooster
We have them in a '01 Toyota Sienna. We usually walk to school, but once school starts we will need another seat if I have to drive my two older boys to school in our '97 Ford Escort since we don't want to have to unbelt the Defender. On the occasions we have to drive, I was thinking having the 6 year old use his brother's Turbobooster and then get a no back booster for the 8 year old just to use as needed in the car. Once the baby's MyRide expires Dec 2018, he will then take my 6 year old's Defender and so the 6 year old (then 7 1/2) will use the Turbobooster. The oldest would use the no back full time.
Does it make sense to buy a backless booster or another high back? We want to buy whatever makes the most sense to pass down to the younger children when they get to the appropriate age.
I know the Defenders turn into to boosters, but we tried it with my oldest last year and it was super clunky and hard to buckle in our Escort, so we'd like to get a dedicated booster. Suggestions on a booster for a 48lb 46inches almost 8 year old?
Thanks!
Amy
