Hi, can you give us weight and height on the kids? And budget?

Where is everyone sitting right now?

Hi! The kids are all of average height, if not a little taller. Weighing in at about 65, 50, 40, 22. However, the new baby won't be due until next February so all those stats will most likely significantly change. I have plenty of time to figure it out! I am thinking by then we can definitely put the 8 year old in a booster. As far as budget, I would love to be able to keep it as low as possible without sacrificing safety. I'll spend whatever I need to, to make this work. I'm really just trying to see what the options are, or if we need to look into purchasing a new vehicle.

Thanks!

Hi! It's doable, but it will be tight, and will require (probably) 3 new car seats. The good news is that the car seats that work there are pretty affordable.

Does the Cosco Pronto work well 3rd row outboard? Lots of boosters have issues where the shoulder belt doesn't retract well. It might also be too wide to work well.

You'll need two high back boosters outboard. If your Cosco Pronto ends up working well, that's fine. I would get one (or probably 2, really) Evenflo Amp Big Kid.

Then there's the center. A forward facing Evenflo Sureride works relatively well between a pair of Amps, as does the BubbleBum.

Then put the baby in an infant seat or appropriate convertible in a captain's chair, and one of the Radians in the other captain's chair.
