Top Tether and EZ ON Y-86 Harness

I have a child with special needs who is too big for a car seat but not ready for a booster as he will not sit in the seat properly and ends up wrapping his feet in the lap portion of the lap/should belt. I purchased an EZ ON Y-86 Harness which seems to be the answer to my prayers. The harness anchors in the top tether and the lap/shoulder belt (using a locking clip) threads through the loops on the bottom of the harness. It appears that I need to know the weight limit for the top tethers but can't locate this information for a 2006 Acura MDX and a 2007 Honda Pilot. Can you provide any guidance? Thanks!

Hi, the top tether anchor defers to the manufacturer of the child seat. So you'll need to install the heavy duty tether anchor when your child reaches 80 lbs (if I recall correctly.)
