    LATCH limit for Frontier 85

I have an 06 Sienna and a 2012 FR85. My DD is now fluctuating between 38-39lbs and I've been thinking all along that the weight limit was seat and child combined and not over 65lb. I've read that it is right around 20lbs so that means we would have another 5-6lbs before needing to switch to seatbelt.

Recently I read that Britax has a general rule of a 40lb limit for LATCH. It's taking me twice as long to install that beast with a seatbelt. So please help me figure this out.

Your manual says on page 2 to assume a 40 pound lower anchor limit.

What troubles are you having with the seatbelt, other than time taken?

I got the seat from a friend and trust its history but it is missing the manual. I know the little foot has to be flipped forward for harness use and I'm having trouble keeping that fully on the seat but maybe it can hang off? I'm off to find the manual online.
