Hoping someone can help me..been racking my brain and researching like mad to figure out the safest way to seat my 4 little ones in our new (used) 2015 Dodge Ram F-2500 crew cab truck. We only use it when camping etc. so it's not our everyday vehicle.
My husband is the driver. My kids are as follows (yes the twins are completely different sizes):
Boy 9 - 69 lbs 53"
Boy 7 - 54 lbs 47"
Girl 4 - 44 lbs 44"
Girl 4 - 36 lbs 40"
I know the smallest twin is not quite big enough for a straight out booster. I was thinking a harness booster with a high back attached to the front middle seat with the lap belt, the bigger twin on one rear side with a regular high back booster and the 2 boys seated in rear middle and rear side in a regular no back booster.
Would this work? Is there a better seating arrangement to keep everyone as safe as possible?
Any recommendations for a great harness booster for the smaller twin?
The truck has full latch and tether anchors in the back but the front middle seat is a fold down one with a lap belt only.
Thanks for any help you can give!
