Help Me Pull the Trigger On a HBB!

Hi All,
When it was time to get my son a forward facing seat, it was a super easy decision for me. The Frontier with it's awesome click-tight install:love: is still something I get all nerdy excited about. Unfortunately,we're in the market for a new HBB, but I'm having the hardest time making my final decision. I'm hoping you awesome folks can help me pull the trigger!

DS Stats:
6 years old (will be 7 on October 2)
46" tall
I don't have a current weight, but I'd say he's pretty slim - He still wears 4t shorts
BIG TIME car sleeper
No complaints about still riding harnessed in his Frontier in my car, which is his primary ride

The new HBB will be used in DH's 2006 Equinox (adjustable head rests/very flat bench seat).

I think I've narrowed down the options to:
  • Diono Monterey XT
  • Chicco KidFit
  • Britax Parkway SGL

I'm certainly open to other options if you feel like they would be a better fit. The only thing I'm set on is going with a HBB. I'm not concerned about it converting to a LBB since those are so inexpensive, but I'm not opposed to convertibles either.

Looking forward to your input so I can stop driving myself crazy!

Haven't used the other two, but have a Kidfit and love it for my DS who is 45 lbs and 49 in at 8 (and a car sleeper on long trips).

I really like the Parkway SGL. The Kidfit officially requires that you buckle it in when not in use if it's in high back mode, which ruled it out for me.

No comments on those seats but the Cybex m-fix is what we have and I love it.
We often take 3 hour drives to see family and my son falls asleep. The headrest reclines slightly to keep his head from slumping forward. It was a selling point for me. It also has rigid latch install and good side impact protection.
