Seatbelt extender Honda Pilot 2010 second row (need to fit 3 kids)

Hello,

I have 3 kids ages (15 months, 4y/o and 6 y/o) I own a 2010 Honda pilot and need something to help my kids (6y/o and 4 y/o)who are both in booster seats buckle themselves. They have a hard time getting the buckle in because of the buckles are "floppy" I am looking into getting a rigid seatbelt extender and wanted to see what others have bought and any other advice. They are all on the second row.

Hi,
Unfortunately seatbelt extenders are not safe or approved by vehicle or booster manufacturers. (The only case in which an extender can be used is if someone is physically too large to buckle the belt and then only if the vehicle manufacturer supplies it- this should be in the vehicle manual.) You can try a product like a LulaBloc, Buckle Biter, or use a small piece of pool noodle around the buckle stalk to hold it up instead (if that doesn't alter the path of the belt.)

Alternatively, you may want to look into harnessed seats, which are easier in a tight 3 across for this reason. (The 4 year old is younger than we would recommend for a booster anyway.)
