This is the kind of product they need to work with manufacturers to approve; not add-on, from what I can see, manufacturers won't ok that.

I worry with add on products like this that people will forget to turn it on, etc. and become too reliant on the technology to remind them. If it was built into the chest clip and automatically activated when you load the baby I think that would make me feel better.

Not sure if I trust it already. Their photos show 27C saying the "car temperature is good". 27 is really warm. Adults would be sweating buckets at 27 inside a vehicle. I wouldn't think it would be safe for an extended period for a baby without temperature regulation.

I agree with the above. I think more manufacturers will build this in to the seats, as some already do. It seems like this with a chest clip would promote misuse, though I guess you can put it anywhere it will stay put. Since it is a proximity sensor, it shouldn't have to be on the harness, just somewhere you would see it when loading the child.

Retail price is $80. It's hard enough talking some people into spending $80 on a car seat, let alone an add on product for the car seat.

Plus all the other stuff mentioned above.
