    Best seats for three across

We need to look at three across in our 2012 Elantra Touring. Our current arsenal of seats include: Foonf, Radian R120, Frontier and Scenera. We will need to purchase an infant seat (ideas on the narrowest? We loved our old keyfit but it's expired).

Currently we have 5.5yo (53lbs 7/8 clothes size) FF behind driver in the Foonf, 2.5yo (30lbs 3T clothes) RF behind passenger in the Radian with angle adjuster. Scenera (bought for a trip - really not a fan) and the Frontier are in the spare car (and I haven't been a fan of it either).

DDs will be 6 and 3 when we need to do 3 across. Not real budget since figuring this out will be cheaper than a new car! I have had my eye on a Oobr for DD1...but want to make sure it would work.

No idea if it will work, but I would certainly try an Oobr, either the R120 or Foonf, and then a Keyfit for baby. Those are all fairly narrow seats.

If you're looking at an Oobr price tag anyway, I'd also check out the Maxi Cosi Rodifix for an easier 3 across.

Do we have the Rodifix in Canada? I'm not up on all the boosters.

Re: Best seats for three across

We got the Oobr but the seat belt clip thingy (technical term ) is recessed in a way that is making it annoying to bucket and impossible to use the LATCH. Any thoughts or official guidance on seatbelt extenders and car seats?

Unfortunately seat belt extenders can't be used with car seats or boosters.
