rear facing car seat for 12 month old

I have a 12 month old that needs a new carseat (he's outgrown his baby one) and I have a Nissan Altima and 2 older kids that ride in the back. What is the narrowest but still safe rear facing car seat I can get? Also, is it still recommended to put in the middle?

What are the heights, weights, and ages of all 3 kids? What seats do you have for the older two?

12 months/32", 7 years/48", 8 years/54". The 7 year old is still in a backless booster. the 8 year old is just in a seatbelt.

If not, an Incognito might be a good choice if your 8-year-old is at least 60 pounds.

Putting the baby in the center may allow the older kids to be more comfortable, but there may be the risk of accidentally unbuckling the center seatbelt when unbuckling a booster on the side where the buckles are close together. You will have to decide what works best for your family, but I would consider either the center or the outboard seat without the buckles next to each other for the baby.

As for which seat, what is your budget? A seat that is narrower on the base part might be ideal to allow room for buckling on either side. Hopefully others will have more specific recommendations.
