My 2 year old grandson has figured out how to wiggle his arms out of his shoulder straps, and to unbuckle his chest clip. I have tighten his harness (so that I can only put 1 finger between him and the harness) but that resulted in him getting sores on his chest and upper thighs. But my biggest worry is that he now can reach the actual seat belt and releases the lock. With him being rear facing and not wanting to take my eyes off the road I do check at stop lights but I am very concerned that something could happen before it gets noticed. I do also reinforce the lesson of safety and not to unbuckle but it doesn't seem to be enough. So after that long explanation my main question is do they make after market safety locks that could provide a secondary layer of protection in addition to my safty lessons? But that could also give me a little more peace of mind. Thank you for any help that you can provide me.
