I have a 2017 Ford Explorer.
We are trying to do 3 across.
I have twins that are in graco boosters and a 9 month old in a Diono Radian RXT rear facing behind the driver.
We are finding it impossible to have two boosters side by side in the 2nd row. the middle seat is just too narrow to fit a car seat or a booster safely! Are there any options out there or do we simply have to use the 3rd row?

Hi and welcome!

What position would you have the 9 month old in ideally? Would you rather have a rear facing seat that works in the center or a booster?

Are the Turboboosters high back or backless?
